Presentation 1: Workflow in SharePoint 2013 [with a peek at alternatives]

Workflow can bring compelling benefits to any organization. SharePoint has included workflow capabilities since 2007, but with the latest 2013 release, workflow has changed in a big way. In this session, SharePoint MVP Jamie McAllister will detail what you need to know about the latest incarnation of SharePoint Workflow, and as requested at the last meeting will compare that with some commercial alternatives.

Presentation 2: Microsoft Product Line Architecture (Details Below)

Available from March 2013, the Product Line Architecture is the culmination of years of Microsoft Consulting Services project deliveries, Microsoft Premier Support expertise and feedback from the Exchange, Lync and SharePoint Product Groups, fused into a prescribed set of rules and models. The end goal being, a product deployment that ensures a predictable and high quality implementation that offers supportability, availability, capacity and workload portability. SharePoint Solution Coordinator Darren Marsden details his experience of PLA and what it might mean for your organization.
